Message hi,

we use Propel with oracle. We already modify things on propel framework
to handle Oracle database, but it's not finished !
Dates are not handled at all :

* to insert dates in Oracle we must add a TO_DATE(<date>,<format>)
function on the String date. ex : INSERT INTO T (ID,MYDATE) VALUES
(5,TO_DATE('2008/03/23 09:05:00','YYYY/MM/DD HH24:MI:SS')
* Same way to get back a date from database : select
TO_CHAR(MYDATE,'YYYY/MM/DDHH24:MI:SS')

oracle only handles datatime colomns, to use Date (without time) we have
to use the TRUNC function (especially when we want to get all records
from a day). The Criterias must handle this also.

After this litle course about Oracle, my question is : did someone
already handle all of this ?

In any case, we will give you a method to handle this, next week.
