Message Dunno, never took a deep look into the internals of it. I just noted it uses PEAR::Log by default.

Well currently you can use your own logger (we do) by writing a simple
wrapper class that implements the [implied] BasicLogger interface. Is this
not good enough? I assume that most people using Propel in production are
using their own logging mechanism (?)
